Why Book Covers?
Books and Stitches is committed to quality. Kathryn van Rooyen, owner, is an avid reader and particularly loves to read her books in covers. She has a vast personal library with books (and Bibles) of all sizes, and found it difficult to keep her books clean and uncreased while traveling with her books (they go everywhere she goes!). Her solution? Create her own beautiful book covers! Many people who loved Vera Bradley book covers have wanted an alternative since they are no longer being produced. Voila! Books and Stitches fills the void!
Some of our quilts............. and Some of our CheckBook Covers and Cross Stitch Towels Because Kathryn is fussy about quality, you will discover that her book and checkbook covers, quilts, cross stitch items and all of our other products are of superb craftmanship.You won't find uncovered seams or hanging threads on her work, or on any work we sell. Kathryn chooses the highest quality fabrics, which does bring the cost up on some items, but all are interesting and long-lasting. She crafts each item herself (unless noted differently in product description), and loves to take special orders; matching covers and quilts, etc. with the personalities and tastes of her customers
